I attended a dinner/seminar regarding Dr. Neecie Moore and her patented products…, i.e., vitamins and the ability to sell such products. more like a if you get 3 people and they get 3 people and so on and so on., then you can make “X” amount of $$$. It’s all about how her patented vitamins can work for you.., what phyonutrients/glyconutrients, that type of thing.., and how cells communicate with one another which helps the body function, blah blah.., am i making sense? Is there really such a thing as “vitamins are just a waste” until you’ve taken “my” patented vitamins.

Glyconutrients, The Next Generation Of Supplementation!

David Filer asked:

If you or somebody you care about is struggling with fatigue, autoimmune disorders, or a life threatening illness, glyconutrients can help. These all natural plant based ‘raw materials’ help support your body’s ability to produce special structures called glycoproteins. Glycoproteins directly affect the ability of your cells to communicate with each other so they are functioning correctly. Everybody responds and fights disease the best when your cells are communicating effectively.

Most bodies’ do not metabolize food and nutrients correctly b/c their body is “out of balance”. The glyco proteins in Glyconutrients, provide your body the raw materials it needs to encourage your body to ’self-correct’ any imbalances.

“Your body is an amazing health machine that can heal itself of disease if you give it the proper nutrition.”

Glyconutrients should be taken in conjunction with a GOOD multi-vitamin. They are not a replacement for a healthy diet and multi-vitamin supplementation. The addition of Glycontrients to your diet will enhance the efficacy of your wellness regime (proper nutrition and vitamin supplementation).

What do Doctors Say about Glyconutrients?

“The biggest revolutionary change in the war against disease is represented by glyconutrients. Glyconutrients are taking their place as one of the pivotal classes of nutrients. I know this not only because of the medical studies but also by the profound effects it has had toward promoting health in my patients that had been lacking over the past 20 years”. — Michael D. Schlachter, M.D., Board Certified Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Disease Clinical Instructor, University of Nevada Medical School.

Harper’s Biochemistry, a textbook used by many of the top medical schools in the U.S., was rewritten in 1996 to add an entire chapter listing the 8 necessary glyconutrients… mannose, galactose, glucose (the only glyconutrient still plentiful in our modern diets), fucose, xylose, n-acetylglucosamine, n-acetylgalactosamine, and n-acetylneuraminic acid. The co-author of Harper’s, Dr. Robert Murray, was so impressed with the company we listed for you to obtain your glyconutrients that he now is on their Board of Medical Directors.

Glyconutrients are the next generation of wellness supplementation. We have just started to understand the many benefits of them. The research reported in the last two decades has fueled a new approach towards wellness and ignited a new sense of hope with many of the world’s leading immunologists, researchers, and doctors.

Glyconutrients and Their Importance for the Health

by glyco on May 24, 2009

Knut Holt asked:

The body needs many specific types of sugar and sugar-like substances to work properly. A group of these has been given the name glyconutrients. This term is not used in scientific textbooks. The term is an invention of a supplement company, Mannatech, but the substances included in this group all have specific roles in the human body that are described in scientific literature.

The body has the ability to make all the glyconutrients, but there are claims that this production tend to be too slow, so that the body may get too little of them if they are not supplied through the diet. These claims are not yet definitely proven scientifically. However, many persons report health gains after having applied a supplement of glyconutrients.

The sugar type glucose is the most central gyconutrient. Glucose is used as an energy source, and it is used to produce other important substances, for example the other glyconutrients. Glucose should be supplied in a manner that allows it to be absorbed evenly through the whole day. Such an even absorption is secured by eating food that will release glucose gradually during the digestive process. Such a food is said to have a low glycemic index. Examples of such food types are beans, peas, full corn cereals or bread, and to a less extend potatoes and sweet fruit in natural form. Many of these foods contain starch that will gradually be broken down to free glucose when digested.

Must people get enough glucose, but some popular law carbohydrate diets may cause a deficiency.

Many other glyconutrients are used as working tools in the body. The body can produce these from glucose, but the production may be so slow that one may get deficient if these substances are not supplied in the diet. These glyconutrients are: Mannose, xylose, fucose, N-acetylglucosamine, N-acetylgalactosamine, N-acetylneuraminic acid.

Glyconutrients work together as a group in many important bodily functions:

- They are tools used to regulate tissue growth, organ development, and organ maturation and to regulate repair and regrowth after injury and disease.

- They are used as tools by the nervous system and the sensorial organs, for example in the retina of the eyes.

- They are used as tools by the immune system, especially to regulate the functions within the immune system and by the recognition of foreign elements that shall be destroyed.

- They are important building blocks in intracellular structures, especially in cartilage, tendons and connective tissues. N-glucosamine is the most important structural glyconutrient.

- They help to hinder microorganisms to fasten themselves to body structures and thereby help the body to wash away bacteria, fungi or viruses. Mannose and xylose are the most important of the glyconutrients for this function.

Since all the glyconutrients tend to participate in many processes, lack of any of them will give problems of many kinds.

Lack of glyconutrients will make a person generally more susceptible for any disease, make it difficult to fight diseases and make it difficult to recuperate once the disease is over. A person lacking glyconutrinent will also more easily get physically hurt, and have difficulties of repairing the damage.

Glyconutrirnt deficiency is believed to cause or aggravate diseases like: Infections, rheumatic diseases, allergies and asthma, heart problems, stroke, failure to thrive and cancer.

A diet containing sufficient glyconutrients or supplements of glyconutrients may help to prevent or overcome the listed diseases. Enough supply of glyconutrient may also increase the general resistance against disease and the general wellbeing

A way of getting needed glyconutrients is to include vegetable and fruit in the daily diet and vary between different types. Good sources are: Aloe vera gel, ground fenugreek, black currant, red currants, gooseberries, green beans, cabbage, eggplant, tomatoes, turnips, shiitake mushrooms, and kelp. Also shark cartilage and bovine cartilage are good sources of gyconutrients, but these sources are perhaps best consumed as ingredients in special supplements.

On the market you can also find special supplements that furnish the body with gyconutrienst you may get too little of by the daily diet.

Glyconutrients Are Only One Piece Of The Puzzle.

David Filer asked:

I recently read a lengthy article on Glyconutrients. The author of the article (who shall remain nameless), incorrectly and falsely made statements about glyconutrients and cures. If you or a loved one are suffering from an auto-immune disorder, please read this article before randomly buying a product off the internet.

Don’t get me wrong. I am a huge proponent of glyconutrients. However, people need to be informed and educated before they start buying nutritional products.

The reality is that glyconutrients are GREAT; and they seriously help people that have compromised immune systems. Glyconutrients have the ability to feed our body at the cellular level. The end result of this is that your body acts and responds more efficiently. This means your body will naturally fight off and address current illnesses and ailments BETTER than if you did not take glyconutrients.

At this point in the research with glyconutrients, it is INCORRECT to make statements that glyconutrients heal. However, the research is far enough along that people who are battling auto immune disorders should SERIOUSLY consider taking glyconutrients.

My other beef with glyconutrient advertising is that it is NOT a silver bullet. There are many good things everybody should be doing for their bodies on a daily basis. These things are even more important when you are fighting a major autoimmune disorder.

For example, everybody should be doing the following:

Taking a good multivitamin

Drinking eight classes of water a day, preferably distilled.

Taking Co-enzyme Q10 and Alpha Lipoic Acid

Taking Priobiotics

Taking a high quality Vitamin C

Think about this. When your body is under stress; and it is failing to fight off a disease properly, wouldn’t you want to give your body all the raw materials it needs to assist in the healing process? Glyconutrients are one MAJOR step in this process; but they are not the entire process.

There are two very good websites on the internet that discuss and sell multi-vitamins and glyconutrients.

Who are the Suppliers of Glyconutrients?

by glyco on May 24, 2009
in glyconutrients

glyconutrients
alexgreenhold asked:

You have heard the buzz of the essential nutrients called glyconutrients but where do they really come from? Well for starters, there are 8 essential nutrients that are the main glyconutrients that your body really needs. Those eight essentials are: fucose, N-acetylglucosamine, galactose, glucose, xylose, mannose, N-acetylneuraminic acid (a sialic acid) and N-acetylgalactosamine. Now, most suppliers do not offer all eight of these nutrients in their supplements so you want to be sure to read the ingredients to be sure you are getting exactly what you want.

Now there are many different suppliers of glyconutrients. Most of these suppliers only supply products with only one or two of the essential glyconutrients, but with other non-essential glyconutrients and even some products contain only the non-essential glyconutrients. This means your body is not getting the much needed nutrients it need to fight off illnesses and diseases. Even thought these glyconutrients that are non-essential they do have benefits, they just do not do as much or are as beneficial as the essential nutrients. The glyconutrients have been proven in their benefits in nutraceutics.

The term Nutraceutical comes from Nutrition and pharmaceutical and has become a growing field. This term is used to describe the natural foods that have healing properties much like pharmaceuticals. Nutraceuticals is used by the very own US Food and Nutrition Board of the Institute of Medicine. They use it to describe the all natural, standardized, safe dietary supplements that are intended to optimize ones health in the course of improved nutrition.

It is no wonder that the glyconutrients are now recognized by people all over the world for their healing properties. More and more companies are making them each day so be sure to read the labels to see if you are getting the glyconutrients that you want.
